Ashley attended an area high school which she was a member of the drama group. She also played football and performed dance. After matriculating in 2018, she chose not to enroll in a university but instead concentrate on acting. Ashley was chosen to play the character in the role of Jessica Finch as part of the Judy Moody Family Comedy, Not Bummer Summer. Ashley received further attention when cast in the roles of many bears in the award-winning animated adventure comedy Ernest & Celestine starring Forest Whitaker Lambert Wilson Pauline Brunner. The movie received nominations and won 29 awards, including the Oscar as one.
